Mr. Twigster WSC #60

Mr. Twigster is a cute set from the Holiday Mini catalog. It was the first thing I picked from the mini. I finally got time today to mount the set and play with it. This card seems unbalanced to me, but I need to work on some other stamping projects, so it will have to stay as it is for now.

The scalloped rectangle is three scallop square punches. I cut the scallops from one side of two of them and two sides of the third. Then I adhered them to a scrap of copy paper. The ribbon on the card hides the seams. You can probably over lap them rather than cutting them. I just worry about too much bulk, but it's probably a personal choice.

This layout is for Beate's weekend sketch challenge #60.

Card details:

Stamps: Mr. Twigster

Ink: Basic Black, Baja Breeze, Real red and Old Olive Stampin' Write markers

Paper: Baja Breeze, Old Olive, Real Red, Whisper White

Embellishments: White Taffeta ribbon, Silver Elastic cord (Holiday Mini)

Tools: Scallop edge square punch

Cute card. I really like the tree from this set; reminds me of the tree from A Charlie Brown Christmas. Love it! TFS~~

What a clever way to use the scallop square punch. It is definately an idea I will be caseing!

I love the way that you used "Mr Twigster" as the background instead of the focal point
